Our Mission

Cubatrip believes that the time has come to make traveling for individuals easier and more fascinating. More and more legally permitted services are provided by Cubans but these services are not published and cannot be advertised. How can the traveler be made aware of these services? Cubatrip and Chico want to get the newly developing small businesses and the travelers closer together.

How We Work

All provided information and services are compiled in Cuba by Cubans.

We run around to look for the best private accommodations for tourists and organize the reservations for both the traveler and the Cubans who are renting out the room. We have started up with accommodations in Havana, yet work is well on the way to do the same for other Cuban cities.

We are also running around looking for more services. Where are the private Cubans willing to organize a tourist service that can be published on the Cubatrip Web Pages? Many ideas for new services already exist and one by one they should be made available on the Web.

The Cubatrip Web Pages are hosted in Switzerland, since Internet services provided by individual Cubans in Cuba are currently not allowed by law. As soon as this changes, all Web administration and hosting will be done in Cuba, ... but until then we are happy to host the pages in Switzerland..
